✨ Looking for a lovely housemate — Hackney

I’m looking for the right person to share my home with — ideally someone who wants a housemate they can actually become friends with, rather than just two people who occasionally pass each other in the hallway!

A little about me: I’m in my mid-30s, a business owner and work from a coworking space in Shoreditch. I’m pretty active and health-conscious — I love the gym, long walks and generally being out and about — but I’m equally partial to a pizza/wings + movie night and a glass of wine on the sofa.

I’m creative, love painting and interior design, and really enjoy making home feel like somewhere you want to spend time. Music is also a big part of my life — usually Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afrohouse playing around the house. On weekends I might be out dancing, at an event, having dinner with friends or doing something with my very close group of girlfriends.

I’d love to find someone with a similar kind of balance — social but not chaotic, independent but friendly, and someone who genuinely enjoys having a nice home. Someone who’d be up for the occasional dinner or wine together, cooking a meal, watching a series/movie, going for a coffee and pastry walk, or even heading out together — while still very much having our own lives and space.

One thing that is important to me is cleanliness. I really pride myself on keeping a clean, tidy and beautiful home, so I’d love to live with someone who naturally feels the same way rather than having to have conversations about cleaning!

📍 Location-wise:
The house is around 5 minutes from the station, 15 minutes from Hackney Downs Park and roughly a 20-minute walk to Stoke Newington, with loads of cafés, gyms, restaurants, independent grocers and shops nearby. There’s also a Tesco and local grocer just a few minutes away, with larger supermarkets around a 10-minute walk.
