Small but comfortable flat

Hi fellow flat hunters, we have a flat/ are looking for a 4th and are in need of a new flatmate to join us (professional’s)✨
It’s around the angel/ Islington area, double room sharing with us 3 (see below) in a lovely Maisonette and LGBTQ+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈

A few non negotiables, even though we do have a room to fill we want a friend to share our space with as we already have this dynamic. This isn’t just a room it’s a home.

The contract will be for 6 months, at which point we will switch to a rolling contract as the landlord is hoping to sell. Given our right to a 2 month notice period, we will be staying in this flat for an absolute minimum of 8 months (there is a chance it could extend for quite a while after given the unpredictability of the sales process, pls feel free to ask more if you have any uncertainties). What we’re really hoping to find is someone to be the fourth member of our tight-knit flat family who we can move out with all together when the time finally comes

I’m an Aquarius who is 24 years of age,
I am a creative, not long graduated my masters in fine art @CSM). So don’t be alarmed if I’m making fluffy bugs in the kitchen at 2am. I have a slight obsession with boots (yeeeehaw) I potentially am a reincarnated cowboy who was raised in the Victorian era.
My friends refer to me as the milf take that as you will 🤰🏼(I am not pregnant nor will be)
Currently been living in London for two years, and planning on staying for many more ⭐️.
I am also the dad of the flat but am looking for you to be new apprentice, bonus points if you come and already know how to fix a few things 🧚🏻
I would very much like to EMPHASISE that this is not just a room for rent, we are looking for someone that will join our community and be our friend above all. We are all very close with each other’s friendship groups and would love to continue the sharing of community’s with our new flatmate.

I do have a touch(massive) of the OCD so I like our communal spaces clean, don’t worry you can crazy in your room (Evie does) #bombsite
I am sober, and our little flat is only good for a small dinner party so if you are wanting a party flat (this one ain’t for you).
I love to eat and cook with people, have movie nights ALOT or binge a series together. Will be bringing my Wii back to the flat soon so Mario cart nights are now on the cards. Cheeky trips out down to the pub (nice cold pint of Diet Coke for me) or a picnic in the park, craft nights are one of the many activities we get up to as a household. Extra extra bonus points if you want to come charity shopping with me.

Hiiiii I’m Evie (she/her), I’m 23, northern, Jewish (not even slightly religious), gay and a terrible chef. I studied Spanish and Portuguese at uni and moved to London in August for a job in sales (and then quit). I’m now a media recruiter and part time languages teacher so you will probs hear Spanish through the walls #despacito. In my free time I love neglecting house plants, going to brick lane, getting overwhelmed on the tube, going to queer events, playing crackly vinyl, reminiscing about the mines #upnorth, shouting a bit of a song for Georgia and Jess to finish the line, eating sushi, (TW) catching (and liberating) spiders for the household, destroying the sense of order in my room, pretending I can sing like Chappell Roan and healing my inner child.

Im Jess(she/her), 23 for now, and more northern than Evie. I moved to London only 2 months ago and currently work in Chaiiwala (my literal heart and soul, find me here when I die). I’m a big languages nerd (did Spanish and French at uni, now learning Hindi and Persian but constantly gagging to learn more). I can also be seen in my free time cleaning both after Evie and so that Georgia doesn’t flog me (I’ll be your fellow aforementioned apprentice🫡). I’m not a big drinker but occasionally partial to a happy hour/pub trip, but I AM a big advocate for a sweet lil bubble tea/coffee date 😉

Some green flags for me are foodies (please motivate me to cook more), film nerds (esp sci-fi/dystopia/crappy romcoms/Bollywood), people who staunchly believe that oodies+hot water bottles 🤩> electric fans/heaters 😡, and people who don’t mind being bombarded by incense at all hours of the day.
