Clerkenwell En-suite Double Room with Gym & Garden

Greetings prospective housemate! I’m looking for someone to join me in a 2 person flat in the architectural marvel that is New River Head. This grade II listed building is surrounded by a lot of green space and just across the road from Exmouth market.

About the building:

It’s well placed for transport, with Angel station just a 6 minute walk away, a bus stop across the road and a Santander bike stand immediately outside the building (often enough populated with electric bikes).

The building has a concierge desk that handles parcel deliveries efficiently, a gym that is often empty and a large communal garden area shared by the building. There is also space for car and bike parking.

The 71.5 sqm apartment is on the 3rd floor. It has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a living room and a separate kitchen area. There’s also an abundance of storage.

The room that is available is the en-suite room, which has a double bed and enough space for a desk. It also has a large closet with mirrored sliding doors.

About me:

I am a 28 year old software engineer working in Soho and I’ve been in London since late 2022.

I work from home a couple of days a week. Work can be quite full on, so I’ll spend weekday evenings chilling around the apartment with just 1 or 2 evenings spent out with friends.

When I’m using my free time productively (which happens less than it should) I’ll be learning French, playing guitar or hitting the gym.

I’m a fairly chilled out guy, I think. I’d be keen to find someone similar that I could be good friends with. It’s a bonus if you know some French, are musical or are into football (something I’m getting into only recently)
