Description

Hello potential new housemate!

The master bedroom in this beautiful 2-bed garden flat has just become available. You'll be sharing with me, Rich.

The rent is £1,557 per month, and the deposit is to be confirmed. Bills are £165 per month for energy, council tax, water, and Wi-Fi.
The move-in date is the 23rd of November, and I'm looking for somebody to take the room until at least the 27th of February, 2025. The lease is secured until the 27th of February, 2026, if we'd like to stay longer.

About the House:

This is a gorgeous neo-Georgian 2-bed flat located in Clerkenwell in WC1X, nestled between Angel and King's Cross. It's located in a lovely block of flats in a quiet area, and all our visitors comment on how beautiful the flat is. The room is a master bedroom; it comes with a king-size bed, bedside tables, and drawers. There's also loads of extra storage. You can add a desk to your room or just work from the desk in the living room as I usually go to the office. You can walk and cycle almost everywhere in Zone 1 very easily, and it's close to King's Cross station which connects easily to most tube lines (Northern, Victoria, Piccadilly, Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City and National Rail), so it's perfect for a commute.

We are very lucky to have an entranceway that doubles as a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. It's a sun trap in the mornings and is a lovely place to have a cup of tea or dry laundry. The garden itself is a shared space (but rarely used by others); we've used it for barbecues with friends or alfresco dining. It's a real quiet sanctuary despite being in the heart of London. We have a weekly gardener to keep it looking lovely (all included in the rent).

About Me:

I'm Rich, I'm 31, work in tech, and love all things nature, music, film, and sports. I work from the office most days but occasionally work in the living room. I'm busy most evenings and weekends with friends and hobbies etc., so you'll frequently have the place to yourself. However, I love to chat and share meals from time to time (I make a great roast I'd love to cook for you). I'm definitely looking for someone who could possibly become a friend rather than just a passing housemate, as I'm keen to maintain the homely vibes. I am super house-proud, clean, and considerate (having lived happily in house shares for 13 years), so hopefully this matches you.

About You:

All genders, sexualities etc., are very welcome! I'm looking for someone who works at least part-time away from home. Hopefully, you also love having friends around, hosting the occasional dinner party, and are up for helping me work through my very long film list.

If you're interested, please message with a little about yourself :)
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Rich
