The room is at the back of the flat, so it’s really quiet and peaceful. It backs onto offices, so no traffic noise — just the occasional bit of background chatter from people enjoying the market below.

👋 About Me

Hey, I’m Jamie, 32, originally from West London and working in innovation consulting (whatever that means…). Been here a couple of years and love it. My current flatmate (and best mate) is moving in with his girlfriend, so I’m looking for someone new to join.

I’m usually in the office Monday–Thursday and often spend a night or two each week in South London with my girlfriend. I’ve got a few two- to three-week trips planned early next year. There’s a standing desk in the living room you’re welcome to use anytime.

🏡 Flat Vibes

I’m pretty relaxed during the week — always up for watching a film or a good true crime doc. I like an old man pub, a reluctant jog, and making the most of the 25% locals’ discount at the market bars and restaurants.

Looking for someone in their late 20s to early 30s, who’s easygoing and sociable. Friends over for drinks or dinner are totally fine (as long as it’s not every night!) — I don’t host that often myself since there are so many great places nearby.

🛏️ The Room & Bills

The room’s technically unfurnished, but my current housemate’s happy to leave his bed and cupboard if you’d like to buy them off him.

Bills are around £130/month (Wi-Fi, council tax, gas, electric, water).
Deposit is £1,625, which would replace my current flatmate’s.

The landlord’s great — it’s a trust that owns the whole of Exmouth Market, so if anything breaks, someone comes out the same day and sorts it (and otherwise leaves you alone).
