Hi team, our beloved Claire is sadly leaving us so we have a room available and are in need of a new flatmate to join us 🫶 Please note: although Claire is not included with the room, she is included with the vibes
ABOUT THE FLAT
Rent + bills:
£870 pcm + £100 roughly for bills (G&E, WiFi, Water, Council Tax - band D)
Tenancy:
The tenancy is ideally 6 month minimum with no maximum, I am one of the housemates and we rent from a landlord through an agent.
Benefits + references:
The landlord does not accept universal credit or benefits. References are required and a guarantor is necessary if you cannot prove sufficient income in the UK.
Deposit:
5 weeks’ rent
Access info:
The flat is a maisonette with the front door on the first floor and 13 steps up to the rest of the flat. There is no lift access. There is no intercom but there is a reception building - separate to the flat entrance. We are also an incense loving household.
Description:
Location: Islington, between Angel and Farringdon stations (10-15 mins walk each) and within shorter walking distance of several bus routes e. g. 73, 341, 153, 38, 205, 19 etc.
The room is an unfurnished double and you’d be sharing the flat with us 3 (see below). We have 2 toilets (1 half-bath, 1 main bathroom).
There is no garden, balcony, internal bike storage or living room but the rooms are all a decent size & unfortunately pets & couples aren’t allowed. We chain our bikes outside and haven’t had any problems.
The flat is within screaming distance of countless restaurants, cinemas, theatres, gyms, bars, libraries, laundrettes etc. and the area feels safe to walk around at night as it is quite residential and family-oriented.
We are looking to find someone who blends well with us to welcome into our home and would love to hear more about you as we’re looking for someone to join our little family, not just our flat.

Heyy I’m Jess (she/her), I’m 25, from near Liverpool, and currently working in ELT. I studied Spanish and French at uni and I now spend a lot of my free time practising and learning new ones (currently working my way through Hindi). I love gym (we have several nearby!) movie nights (pls watch Bollywood with me), and sharing a laugh or two with my dear friends Ollie and Evie. You can find me getting overstimulated by the wind and loud noises, gushing over my heated drying rack, and wherever my flatmates are. Special skills include: massages (giving and receiving), jumping, etymology, and having accurate premonition dreams.
Hiiiii I'm Evie (she/her), I'm 24, northern, technically gluten-intolerant but non-practising 😔 & queer 😁. I studied languages at uni and moved to London in 2023. I now work in media & I teach languages part time so you will probs hear Spanish through the walls #despacito. In my free time I love neglecting my house plants, drawing, going to brick lane, getting overwhelmed on the tube, live music, watching movies on the projector, reminiscing about the mines #upnorth, eating sushi, (TW) catching (and liberating) spiders for the household, destroying the sense of order in my room and healing my inner child.
Hey:) I’m Ollie (he/him), an almost-25yo biology PhD student and salt lamp enthusiast. I moved to London last year and work remotely on my PhD work, researching mistletoe and cholera (niche ik), and I do a bit of tutoring on the side. I enjoy playing my piano, gay running and eating carbonara, scotch, going Jim and cake in the bath. I once took part in a CBBC Fifth Harmony music cover video fyi. My favourite thing about our flat is how we embrace each other’s oddities (and put the bloody kettle on). I love hanging out in the kitchen with the rest of the flat, pub quizzes, cooking some scran together, singing around my piano and just vibing:)
