I have a newly refurbished flat in Colindale, located on the second floor (no lift), just a 5-minute walk from the station, with parking available. The flat has been completely renovated and includes brand-new appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and oven. The furniture and bed are also brand new. Everything in the property is new.
I originally intended to use the flat myself, as I travel between different places, but it has remained empty because I have not had the time to stay there. I will not be living in the flat permanently; however, I am looking for a lodger rather than a long-term full-time tenancy.
The lodger will have full access to the entire property. The bedroom will be the lodger’s private space. The lodger will most likely be living alone in the flat and will not have a roommate. I will be the only other person who has access to the property, but due to my work commitments I will rarely be there. I will emphasise that I will be having access to the property. Your privacy is only your bedroom.
Living room is share with me if I stay.
This arrangement would suit someone who travels between London and another city and needs accommodation Monday to Friday. The price can be negotiated if the property is not required every day.
I am looking for an exceptionally clean, organised, and responsible person who will take good care of the flat. As I have a very sensitive neighbour, it is important to keep noise to a minimum. Loud music or parties are not permitted in the property.
Additional information:• Council tax and water are included in the rent• Electricity is pay-as-you-go and paid separately by the lodger• No TV licence or Wi-Fi currently installed (the lodger may arrange this if needed)• Parking available• No smoking inside the flat• No pets allowed due to building management rules
As the property has been newly refurbished, I expect the flat and its equipment to be treated with care. Any damage caused through negligence will need to be addressed by the lodger.
If the agreed conditions of the stay are not respected, the lodger will be given 4 weeks’ notice to leave the property. Credit check and 12 months payslips and reference is required .
