We have a large, double room available from 9th July to rent in a great flat in Colindale. The rent is £750pcm and this includes all bills (utilities, Council Tax and broadband/TV).
The room is really spacious and comes fully furnished. The flat itself has a fully equipped kitchen, tons of storage (large storage cupboards in addition to the big wardrobes in the room), big appliances (fridge freezer and washing machine), a large 50” TV in the living room with full Sky package and unlimited broadband. The flat is in a 4 year old build in a clean, modern and secure development – there’s video entry and the estate management are based nearby – and also underground storage for bikes. The development has several amenities in it, including a Tesco, a pub, a couple of restaurants and a dry cleaners.
There are great transport links, with Colindale station a few minutes’ walk away (7-8 minutes walk), buses within easy reach and Mill Hill Broadway train station a short bus ride away/20 minutes’ walk. You’re also really close to two big supermarket superstores (Asda and Morrisons). Brent Cross is a short drive/tube ride away and it’s only 20 minutes via the tube to central London. Oh, and the flat has a great view: it’s opposite the RAF Museum so there’s a clear view of some amazing old planes!
A bit about us and who we’re looking for: we are David and Natalie and own the flat, so obviously have a particular interest in keeping it in great condition! We are both young professionals who work full-time– one working in central London, the other just outside of it. We’re friendly and relaxed, happy to spend the odd evening chatting away on our (very) comfy sofas, but likewise like to keep our own space too. We are not party animals, though, so won't be keeping you up all night with thumping music...likewise, we are looking for someone who will be respectful of our property i. e. will help keep it tidy, not have lots of visitors/parties all the time (obviously the occasional guest is fine!). Basically, we like to treat others how we like to be treated ourselves, and look for someone to have the same principle!
