Description
Refurbished cozy, medium size dbl room available in Zone 2 Cricklewood.
10 mins from Gladstone Park, 20 mins walk to Willesden Green tube or 2 bus stops, 15 mins walk to Cricklewood train station. Shops, cafes, post office, amenities, gym with swimming pool nearby.
The room is a downstairs middle room in a 6 bedroom, semi detached house. It is not suitable for working from home.
Room offers lots of storage:
built in cupboards, sturdy, large wardrobe with full length mirror and space under the bed with new bed mattress and new carpet.
The room is next to the downstairs kitchen. The downstairs communal areas are shared by only the downstairs 3 tenants including you, so is the cleaning of these areas for which we have a fortnightly cleaning rota.
The room is slightly cooler temperature but has a pleasant climate all year round and no humidity/mould issue whatsoever.
We all like our beauty sleep at night and prefer to keep a peaceful home at night.
Strictly non-smoking house and each room is for single occupancy.
Each floor has separately a full bathroom with toilet and an eat in-kitchen therefore you'll only be sharing the downstairs amenities with 2 other working, european female.
Landlord is quick to get anything fixed/changed that's broken and is good with maintaining the house to be compliant with all regulations.
Good standard bathroom with toilet inside, excellent water pressure all over including in shower. Small kitchen with 2 chairs, microwave, cooker, kettle, toaster, oven and fridge-freezer. Gas heating with a new boiler that was installed 12 months ago.
Please note there's no extra storage space outside the bedroom.
We have a washing machine and a small, south facing, grassy garden that is shared between all the tenants (gets plenty of sun), it has a long washing line to dry laundry when weather permits and also a few, old garden chairs to use.
Gas+electricity meters are separately for each floor so you'll split monthly bill payments for these (based on monthly meter readings that we supply) with the 2 other tenants downstairs.
In non-heating months gas+electricity combined comes to £50-£60/month, obviously in heating season it's higher, approx. £100-£150.
Rent weekly is £135, it includes council tax.
Water charge is £5/week.
Fibre optic wifi £13/month.
Checkable work references and also previous landlord references are required.
Guests and visitors are ok at no extra charge.
About the tenants:
We're all respectful, friendly, considerate and non-smoking females from the EU, middle aged with full time working lifestyles.
We like to have a chat but we all lead independent lives. The only male housemate we have is remotely working from his home country and not returning to London anytime soon so practically this is an only female houseshare.
Minimum stay 6 months.
Please note we have no secure storage for bicycles and they not allowed inside the house/rooms.
