Description
A very large room with kingsize bed in Spacious & Modern 2-Bed / 2-Bath Flat in Dalston
You will be sharing the flat with me, a full-time NHS doctor. My current flatmate is moving out in October, so I am looking for a new flatmate to take over a very large bedroom with kingsize bed in this contemporary, two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.
LGBTQ+ welcome
The Flat & Room
Layout: Two large double bedrooms and two modern bathrooms (one en-suite shower room, one tiled full bathroom).
Living Space: A huge open-plan kitchen and living area with high-gloss white units, integrated appliances, a dishwasher, and hardwood flooring. Semi-furnished with two beds and a dining table.
Outdoor Space: Private entrance with front and rear outdoor areas, including raised planting beds in the front garden.
Features: Larger-than-average floor plan, high-spec finishes, hardwood floors, and carpeted bedrooms. Ideal layout for working from home.
Pet Friendly: Dog-friendly house. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to have a cat as I sometimes bring my dog which does not get along with cats.
Location & Local Area
Situated on Richmond Road (just off Queensbridge Road), the flat is in a quiet, modern development:
Transport
Seconds from Dalston Junction / Dalston Kingsland Overground stations.
A short walk to London Fields, Broadway Market, and Wilton Way. Seconds walk to gym and 7 minutes walk to the London Fields Lido.
Surrounded by fantastic local pubs (The Duke of Richmond, Prince George, The Spurstowe Arms, etc.) and amenities.
About Me & Flat Dynamics
I’m a social, easygoing doctor working full-time. Because I work shift patterns (including night shifts once or twice/month), I need a flatmate who is mindful and respectful of quiet time when I’m sleeping during the day.
When off-duty, I love cooking, running, cycling, and swimming (and I’m always open to team sports). I enjoy sharing a chat or meal, but I equally respect personal space. Cleanliness is important to me, though the flat is very easy to keep tidy—and the dishwasher definitely helps!
Estimated Monthly Bills (Per Person)
Council Tax: £86
Internet: £20
Electricity & Gas: £35–£60 (varies by usage/season)
Water: ~£20 (billed 6-monthly)
Total Bills: Typically £160–£190/month, depending on energy usage.
This is a lovely flat that attracted a lot of interest last time it was listed. If it sounds like a good fit, please get in touch with a bit about yourself!
