Sunny and Furnished 1 bd/1 bth home in De Beauvoir

Hello, I’m looking for someone to take over my home from 5th December for two months, with the option to stay on month to month after that.

THE HOME
It’s a sunny, split-level 1-bed on the first floor of a converted Georgian house, and it’s fully furnished. I’ve put a lot of care into making it a calm, design space, so you’ll find books and photography around, as I’m a film photographer outside of work. You’ll wake up to views of trees, and it’s properly quiet because it sits away from the main roads.

The bedroom has a kingsize memory foam bed, so it works well for one person or a couple. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook properly, and there’s a washing machine, a bath and fast wifi throughout. The living room is a lovely spot for a laptop day, and if you’d rather work around people, Batch Baby is a brilliant local cafe a short walk away.

THE DEAL
Rent is £2,420 a month (includes bills and broadband)
Deposit: £500

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
A working professional or a couple who will treat the home with respect. I also have a few very low-maintenance plants that only need watering once a week, so it would be lovely to find someone happy to look after them while they’re here.

THE AREA
De Beauvoir is a lovely neighbourhood with independent cafes, a local deli and a canal path minutes away, which is great for runs and walks to Victoria Park or Angel. Broadway Market and Columbia Road Flower Market are an easy weekend walk away, and Dalston’s wine bars, pubs and restaurants are minutes away.

TRANSPORT
Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction are both a short walk, and there are plenty of buses along Essex Road and Southgate Road.
