Lovely rooms in De Beauvoir Town

Hello dear potential flatmate ✨

I have exciting news! there are two rooms available in the flat I live in! Below I’ll tell you a little bit about the rooms, the flat, and myself, so you can decide whether we might be a good match 😊

🏡 The rooms

Room #1 – £1,070/month, excluding bills
Bills currently come to around £150 per person/month (including cleaner costs).

This room shares a bathroom with me. The wardrobe belonging to the room is in the hallway.

Room #2 – £1,190/month, excluding bills
Bills currently come to around £150per person/month (including cleaner costs).

This room has its own private toilet/shower room. The wardrobe belonging to the room is also in the hallway.

☀️ The flat

The flat is suuuper bright and comfortable. It has massive, almost wall-to-wall windows, so unlike many London flats, we actually get lots of natural light!

It’s a relatively new, quiet and well-insulated building. It stays quite warm in winter and somehow naturally cool in summer.

It honestly is the best place I have lived in by all means. The location, the energy in the house, the surroundings, everything 💛

🌱 Me

I’m very cool… just kidding (Am I?) 😋

I’d describe myself as medium sociable. Sometimes I like disappearing into my room and barely showing up at all. Other days I’ll be in the living room chatting with you about my latest life experiences, joys, challenges and existential discoveries.

I’m quite an open book and I love open, vulnerable conversations.

I like climbing things! Yes! Trees, for example… Or humans…Or an actual climbing wall works too.

What else… I’m a Product Manager… blah, not that interesting.

I love music festivals (especially Burning Man affiliates), cuddles, hugs and doing silly things. Yes, I’m very enthusiastic about silly things. This is important information.

I’m reasonably tidy, but not obsessive about it. I’m up for going out and doing things together if we get along, but I’m equally happy for us to simply have lovely, homey flatmate vibes.

I’m lucky to have a really good group of friends and spend quite a lot of time with them, mostly outside the flat, so I have my own social life too.

If we get along, I could potentially become your cat, sitting on your lap and enjoying strokes. Or vice versa. But please don’t sexualise me as an animal 😂

I also LOVE dancing. Feels important to mention! And wrestling. Basically, I like movement, touch, and mixing the two in some improvised manner.

Other things I love: nature, martial arts, music, trance, sitting in front of a fire, daydreaming, being present, laughing, playfulness, rolling around in mud like a pig, meditation, pole dancing, rope aerial, contact improvisation, self-exploration, wildness, listening to people, adventures, travelling, asking invasive questions, vulnerability, trying new things, animals, neurodivergent people… and more.

💛 What I’m looking for

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who’s open to lovely chats when we cross paths in the kitchen or living room.

trying to create place where it feels like home 😊 to have the opportunity to share some positive energy and have different types of experiances together. Where it feels like place where people share love, respect, support, joy and fun.

If we really get along, I’d love for us to sometimes do things together too, inside or outside the flat 😊 But there’s absolutely no expectation of becoming best friends. Having our own lives and space is important too.

Basically, I’d love the flat to feel like a home shared by people who like each other, rather than just strangers renting rooms next to each other.
