Double room with garden view near Ruskin park

Double room available in lovely two-bed ground-floor, garden flat. The place is fairly newly renovated and the garden in particular is very special.

There is a step at both the front and back doors and some narrow bits of the hallway but if you have specific access needs, send me a message and we can figure out if it is suitable for you. I can get a small ramp if needed.

Great area right by Ruskin Park and near King’s hospital. Lovely neighbours. 5mins from Loughborough Junction station and a walk to Denmark hill and Brixton stations. Good bus links too.

The room has a truckle bed which can be either a single or a double depending on your preference. It has bedding. There is a spacious built-in wardrobe and a black-out blind. You can choose whether to keep the garage shelves I currently have in there or not.

Shared bathroom containing a great spacious shower, a sink and toilet. Shared kitchen/living room with space for entertaining if you like that sort of thing!

There’s not a huge amount of storage outside the room so I’d suggest not bringing truckloads of stuff.

You’ll be sharing the flat with me. I’m an artist and art teacher in my early thirties and I own the property. I currently live there solo but have experience living in shared houses and am looking forward to living with someone again. I like having friends round from time to time and would be happy for you to do the same if you chose.

I’m looking for someone friendly, who will be respectful of me and my home. I’m open to pets in theory depending on their needs etc - we can discuss. No couples please - flat’s a bit small for that. No smoking inside, please, but in the garden’s fine as long as you clear up the butts! Extra points if you like gardening (but by no means a requirement!).

Living there solo, I currently spend about £250 on bills (inc. council tax) so I’m guessing with two of us it will be in the region of £140 each but we’ll have to find out and obviously these things are getting more expensive too. It is well insulated and I have found it keeps quite warm in winter and cool in summer.
