Description
A bright, south-facing double room in a new-build two-bed flat, on the top floor of a small, quiet block. The room has a double bed, wardrobe, desk and bedside table, and comes with or without a mattress. You'll share a large open-plan living and dining room and a balcony. The flat is clean, calm and well kept: a proper home rather than a crash pad.
Deptford High Street's market, cafés, pubs and shops are a 10 to 15 minute walk away. New Cross, Deptford and Deptford Bridge DLR are all about 8 minutes' walk, with New Cross Gate 12 minutes away.
The room is available because the current flatmate is moving on after four happy years here.
You'd be sharing with Dan, 35, who has been here 18 months and works in higher education, mostly from the office. He's tidy, considerate and easygoing: happy to chat, but equally good at leaving people be. This is an LGBT-friendly flat.
We're looking for a friendly, easygoing professional with a sense of humour who also works mostly from an office or studio, not full-time from home. You'd keep shared spaces clean and communicate well if anything needs sorting out.
£1,000 a month including all bills: [council tax, energy, water, tv licence and broadband]. Deposit £500. Available 18 October.
