Lovely East Putney double! (Owner works in music)

Hi there. My name is Zita and I have a double room to rent in my large 5 bedroom, beautifully decorated, lively home in East Putney. Please note that this is not your standard house share as such. It's more a spare room in a large family house with myself, one other tenant and occasional adult children visiting. I run a staffed office, working in the music industry, from home at the end of the garden, so you would also need to be aware of this from the hours of 10am to 7pm.

This opportunity would best suit a professional in full-time employment. I currently have a male lodger, so this would suit a female to keep the balance. I'd ask for one month's deposit and one month's rent upfront. I'd also require one month's written notice on leaving.

The room comes newly redecorated and fully furnished, including a standard size double bed, two beside tables and a 50" plasma TV. A brand new shared bathroom is adjacent. The rent is £1,000 a month. All utility bills are included. Bills include gas, electricity, unlimited wireless internet, a Sky subscription and a house cleaning lady twice per week for the main house (or room at extra cost)! In terms of the house, there is not a shared lounge (the lounge, piano room and garden are for the use of the owner) but you can use the kitchen/diner for cooking and eating. Non smokers are preferable. We also have a Jack Russell dog.

The house is perfect in terms of transport links. East Putney tube station (District Line) is a 5-10 minute walk away from the house. There is also good access to buses into central London. Putney overground station is a 15 minute walk away. The house is close to a large park (Wandsworth Park) and river walk and many gyms and pubs. There are direct links into central London. Many supermarkets are within walking distance and corner shops within a couple of minutes. We also have a lovely pub, the Queen Adelaide, at the bottom of the road. We are also close to Wandsworth, Battersea, Barnes, Fulham, Chelsea, Clapham, Brixton Hammersmith and Wimbledon. There is free parking after 6:30pm and pre 8:00am.

There is an optional additional single room on the top floor available at £40 per night (inc. bills) for visiting friends or family. Please enquire if you'd like more information.

References are required. The room is available from mid November. Please apply with a photo and a bit more information about yourself, what you do for work etc. I will then do an initial phone call or hello on Zoom and then if we get on, we'd arrange a viewing.
