Description
This is a double room in a sunny garden flat, right in the heart of London’s gay triangle in Zone 1.
Communal space includes a lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is getting a makeover in early March, but in the meantime, it’s got a big American fridge-freezer that dispenses ice, as well as a Bosch washer/dryer for spotless clothes. There’s a 1Gb fibre broadband connection to the flat, and a router in your room if you need wired Ethernet.
The flat has a south-facing garden with a sunny patio and a gas barbecue. At the end of the garden is a pond and a summerhouse, perfect for chilling out in the warmer months. The summerhouse also has extra storage space for a small fee.
The flat has a smart lighting and heating system that only turns on the spaces you use, so you’ll save energy.
While the flat (and its friendly, chill, and easygoing landlord—that’s me!) should meet most of your needs, it’s the location that really matters. Being in Zone 1, it’s just a two-minute walk to Lidl, 650m to Burgess Park, or a 15-20 minute walk to London Bridge and Elephant & Castle stations, both in Zone 1 and with overground and underground connections. Plus, we’re on tons of bus routes.
Oh, and by the way, I have a 12-year-old white miniature schnauzer named Finn. Very friendly and docile, but does like to greet you when you arrive.
All bills are included except for energy, for which you would pay a one-third share.
