Double bedroom in Elephant & Castle

Hi!

We are looking for a new flatmate to move into our three-bedroom flat in Elephant and Castle as one of our flatmates is moving out. You'll be moving in with the two of us (23 and 26) both of us working full time, so we are also looking for a female working professional who would be a nice fit for the place, and ideally does not work from home. A little bit more about us:

Yasamin (26) - Iranian/American, work in healthcare comms, veggie 🌱, love pilates and swimming, coffee dates and trying out new restaurants with friends. Also always done for any art exhibitions!

Mehek (23) - Malaysian/Indian, I’m in HR at an Insur-tech startup, love spending my evenings and weekends exploring all the hidden veggie foodie gems that London has to offer whether it’s with friends or solo, and I love travelling!

The flat is very clean, cozy, and quiet, and both of us like some friendly conversation as well as having our own space and chill nights in watching a movie or cozied up with a good book. The rent is £775 a month for a bright lovely double room. All the bills (wifi, water, gas/electric, and council tax) together come to about £110 per person/month, so about £875/month total.

The flat is just under 10 minutes from Elephant and Castle station and less than 15 min from Kennington so both Northern and Bakerloo are within walking distance, plus there are loads of buses connecting to rest of London. There are plenty of shops less than 10min walking distance including big Morrisons and Sainsbury’s as well as Coop and Tesco Express.

The room is available from January 30th and you will be replacing one of our flatmates who is moving out for the rest of the contract until the end of July, with the possibility to renew for another year after. You will need to have the right to rent in UK and be able to provide standard documents like passport, employment reference, reference from current landlord and proof of current address to apply.
