Regrettably, our housemate is moving in with his girlfriend, so a room is becoming available in our beautiful, bright and spacious penthouse in Elephant & Castle that will have you feeling like you’ve completed The Urbz: Sims in the City. The flat is west facing and has been so nice this summer with the rooftop for relaxing, watching the sun set behind the London Eye, and even growing fruit & veg! It has a big Kitchen with plenty of counter space and storage, a living room and a separate conservatory/dining area.

The room is bright with a double bed and direct access to the rooftop. It also has a private toilet located just outside the bedroom and a bathroom shared with only 1 other flatmate. There is plenty of storage space and space for a desk for a WFH setup. There is also tons of storage elsewhere in the flat.

The train station is only 2 minutes away, with plenty more routes inside and outside of London. Getting anywhere is effortless, with most journeys less than 20 minutes. The flat is also really handy for getting to any of London's airports, with Gatwick only 35 minutes away. Handy for anyone working in Bank or Piccadilly, which are only a walk away.

The area itself has everything you need. A big Sainsbury's around the corner, and tons of Asian and Latin American markets and many more on the way. The area has loads of new restaurants, bars, and cafes. There are several gyms in the area, plus yoga and Pilates studios, all minutes away. Right across the street, there is Mercato Metropolitano, and Borough Market is only a 15 minute walk.

Who you’ll be living with

You’ll be sharing with two working professional men in their 30s, originally from Ireland and Australia. We work in IT and City Council, both on a hybrid basis.

Anton from Ireland, working in IT. Hobbies are always growing and include Powerlifting, Climbing, Golf, acting, cooking, and foraging.

Luke from Australia. Works as a City Planner. Loves Pub Quizzes and exploring Europe.

We’re looking for someone clean and friendly who wants to contribute to the homely atmosphere and make the flat their own home.

Rent and move-in

- Rent: £1,350 per month, excluding bills
- Bills: Usually £150 per month
- Available: ASAP
- The new tenant will be added to the tenancy agreement, subject to the agency’s usual referencing and checks
