Double room for rent in Finsbury Park

Beautiful bright and sunny top floor flat in Stroud Green, overlooking gardens with gorgeous views of the city from the kitchen and lounge. Available from 1st July but flexible on move in dates throughout July.

Situated between Crouch End and Finsbury Park, it's an easy walk to get to either side. Finsbury Park is the closest tube station and a 15/20min walk away, but the W3 bus has a stop right outside the house and takes about 10 minutes. Crouch Hill overground station and Harringey train station are both about a 10min walk away. Big lidl, tescos, sainsburys and waitrose are all a short walk from the house, whatever floats your boat. I personally enjoy the abundance of green space in the area, the nearby parkland walk is great for a run or walk with friends.

The room itself is lovely, with tall ceilings and black out blinds facing a quiet road, making for a good sleep. When I was in that room I was able to fit a double bed and sofa in there comfortably. Unfurnished but I have a chest of drawers, bedside table and clothes rail that could be used by yourself. Communal areas are fully furnished but if you do have furniture we can definitely re-adjust the space. The flat has one shared bathroom.

Bills are about £150pcm.

Looking for a flatmate to enjoy the flat with, hang out and meet each others friends etc. Someone clean and tidy, preferably with similar interests and general vibes to me.

I'm a bridge engineer who works from the office 2/3 days a week. So someone with a similar schedule or who works from the office full time would be great.

I am often up for a party (although the flat isn't really suited for anything more than a dinner party) and going for beers with friends but similarly enjoy chilling on the MASSIVE sofa playing video games. Still looking for a venue to replace printworks in my heart.

During the week, I am often going to the gym (again lots of choices in the area), running with pals or swimming at crouch end lido just down the road.

I'm also quite creative and enjoy sewing, playing piano (with headphones very respectfully), cooking and baking. Would be happy to bring more hobbies into the flat! We have a 'hobby corner' mezzanine to the flat which is up for discussion on its use.

I've been living in the flat for 5 years and rent through a private landlord who is quite easy going about hanging pictures and making the space our own. The tenancy is up for review in March 2025.
