Gorgeous flat near Finsbury Park

Split-level flat, rented unfurnished but furnished nicely by me! There is a big living room with quality TV, large sofa and armchair - great for movie nights - and a big kitchen that is great for cooking.

The advertised bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, and the other furnishings are flexible, so if you have your own furniture that can work, or there is the possibility of keeping the bed, drawers etc. The pictures are from a previous tenant, so some of the furniture has changed since then.

Bills are roughly £220 pp/pm, which includes a bi-weekly housekeeper, so we don't have the stress of dividing and scheduling chores.

About me:

I am 39, a tax professional and also studying for my MA Philosophy at KCL, although I’m very nearly finished. So I am a busy bee!

In my free time I enjoy going for hikes and doing yoga. I am often out socialising with friends, going to galleries, theatre, cinema, and summer festivals. I travel fairly frequently to visit family and friends outside London. My family mostly live in Ireland (I don't come with a cute accent unfortunately).

The beauty of sharing with just one other person is finding you often have the place to yourself. I stay with my partner a couple of times per week, and she stays here a couple of times per week on average. If you have a partner, I am very happy with a similar arrangement, or the occasional friend crashing on the couch. Two-bed flats are expensive and, the majority of the time, I want us both to feel we are getting the benefits of living with just one other person. I am sure you do too.

When I am at home, I am usually playing the piano (it is digital and I can use headphones if you are in) or watching a film in the evening. I'm well accustomed to sharing. It is nice to sometimes share a meal, have a chat, or watch a film or TV together. Extra points if you are a lover of sci-fi, Only Connect or board games - I'm currently addicted to Rummikub! 🤓

It's really important to me that our flat feels peaceful and homely. I am looking for someone who similarly wants a friendly household where we can enjoy each other’s company whilst also having plenty of space and relaxation.

I identify as lesbian, I eat everything, but am happy to obey a veggie household rule for the right person. Not vegan though, as I eat eggs constantly. 😂 Although I do drink, I would be hesitant to live with someone who drinks very frequently at home.

I'm a big lover of cats and dogs. Extra points if you know any crows. I can deal with spiders, but I need someone who can deal with moths. 😨
