Room in period flat, FItzrovia

Hi, I’m renting out a room in two-bedroom flat as I will be moving apartments in November. I (Alex, 25) share the flat with another person (male, 30) and you two would live there together.

The flat:
It’s a period building that has been modernised inside. It has high ceilings, five windows and wooden floors throughout the hallway and living room.

Your room: a bright bedroom (pictured) which comes with the bed. The rest of the furniture in the bedroom is mine but I'm happy to part with the wardrobe for a small fee.

Living room (shared): spacious, with a period fireplace, a large corner sofa and a dining table for two. It gets good light from two big windows.

Kitchen (shared): lightly fitted, some of the equipment is mine but basic pots and pans are the apartment's and will stay. Equipped with fridge and oven.

Bathroom (shared): Toilet and bath with a rainfall shower.

The area
The flat is on a calm street in Fitzrovia, away from the noise of Oxford Street. There are good cafés and pubs on the doorstep. UCL, the University of Westminster and the British Museum are all within walking distance, and so is Regent’s Park.

Transport (5-10 minutes walking distance)
- Oxford Circus (Central, Victoria, Bakerloo)
- Tottenham Court Road (Elizabeth, Northern)
- Great Portland Street (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan)

Looking for someone easy-going and considerate, ideally a professional or postgraduate student, who wants a calm, comfortable home. My flatmate is a professional in the financial industry and has lived in London for many years.

Rent and move-in

Rent: £1,767 per month
Bills: on top of rent, about £150 per person per month
Move-in: first week of November preferred
