Volunteer Opportunity: Live-in Helper Needed in London Flat for Short Term Stay. 1 week to 3 months in Chelsea!

Are you a creative or/and practical person who enjoys DIY and is looking for a short-term stay in London? I’m offering a unique chance to stay in my 2-bedroom flat with one other (me!) in Fulham for a hugely reduced rent for your help with various tasks, contribution towards electric/gas/water/wifi bills and purchase of paint etc as per job. (It shouldn't cost a lot!)

About the Role:
Tasks: Repainting the flat, tending to a small garden, breaking up a shed and disposing of it. Putting up shelves and mirrors, and other creative or organisational solutions if you have them.

Do your own hours - let's work through a list each week, or every fortnight. Your hours are your own so long as you honour the request for help.

If you're not good at everything, but excel in other areas, or can learn as you go without my direction, that's fine too....

Leaps of good faith here are required all round.

Accommodation: Single room available, with the option to claim the front room if preferred.

Rent: Significantly reduced, with a contribution towards bills (electric, gas, wifi). Let's talk through options on that.

I’d also ask for you to pay for material towards DIY like paint and brushes or screws etc.

But apart from that, no other costs. It shouldn't be a lot.

1 months deposit - is just a way of establishing trust.

If you’re staying for a week - we choose 1 task for you to do and you pay in advance of your week.

The Flat:
Location: Lovely ground floor flat in Fulham, close to the river, Imperial Wharf, Fulham Broadway, 3 supermarkets, cafes, gastro pubs and major bus routes.
Features: Clean and spacious with a single bed, set of drawers, clothes rail, living room, fully equipped kitchen (including washing machine), and a bathroom with full bath and shower.

About Me:
I’m a creative thinker, female. over 50, neurodiverse, and currently working on my first autobiographical play as well as being an Embodiment, Creativity & Transformational Coach. I’m young at heart, enjoy my own space, but also appreciate good company. I’m open to sharing a cup of tea or coffee or glass of sparkly, but equally to leave you to your own devices and vice versa. Also happy to share dog-walking duties if you come with a dog, all good so long as it's a well-trained dog.

Requirements:
Must be a responsible and tidy individual. (Which means we do our own washing up daily, we both hoover and clean once a week.)
Easy going, kind, calm, grounded, responsible.
Dogs are welcome if they are well-trained!
No cats sadly, as I'm so allergic!
Please note I am a meat-eater.
Smokers are permitted - just absolutely no smoking in the house please. (Garden is there for that purpose!)
