To my flatmate’s dismay, I’ve decided to return home above the M25 (or "the North," as they call it) and now need someone to take over my part of our contract.
The property is a maisonette located above a row of shops on North End Road, offering immediate access to a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars right outside the door. It’s conveniently situated within a 10-minute walk from three tube stations: West Brompton, West Kensington, and Fulham Broadway. Best of all, there’s now a Lidl just a few doors down, meaning that Lidl bakery is only 30 seconds away!
The house, including the available room, is fully furnished and comes with a small terrace balcony accessible from the modest kitchen. The double room on offer is the second-largest in the house, located on the lower floor (first floor if you count the shop below), with a full bathroom and walk-in shower on the same level. The living room serves as the main social hub of the house, complete with a Wii for those who fancy getting thrashed at Mario Kart!
Your flatmates are a great bunch—all of us work in the city, with three in finance and one as a lawyer (so you’ll likely catch us most late evenings in the kitchen after a long day!). We’re a laid-back group who enjoy grabbing a pint after work, hitting the gym, and exploring whatever the city has to offer—whether it’s sports, events, or anything exciting that comes up.
The room is available from either December 1st or 7th, depending on what works best for the tenant switch. The contract has around two years remaining, with rent set at £855 per month until next August, after which it will increase slightly to £860 for the final year. The exact deposit amount needed is to be confirmed, but mine was approximately £967.
