Double Room with Private Bathroom in Lovely Flat

Me and my girlfriend are looking for a new housemate to join us in our lovely split-level flat in Fulham, just off Dawes Road, from August.

The three of us have called this flat home for the last two years and have absolutely loved living here. Sadly, our current housemate, Sydney, is moving to East London, so we’re looking for someone to take her place and enjoy everything this place has to offer.

The flat is genuinely something special. It’s spread over two floors with a huge open-plan kitchen and living space, but the standout feature is the large roof terrace that gets the sun all afternoon and into the evening. It’s perfect for summer BBQs, pizzas in the pizza oven, or just relaxing with a drink after work.

The room:

* Spacious double bedroom with plenty of room for a desk if you work from home.
* Your own private bathroom (right next to the bedroom - effectively yours exclusively, just not technically an en-suite).
* The landlord is planning to install built-in wardrobes in the coming weeks, so there’ll be even more storage.

About us:

You’ll be living with us, a couple, Alex (30) and Erica (30).

* Alex is English and works in tech.
* Erica is Australian and works as a graphic designer.

We’re pretty sociable and enjoy catching up over dinner, heading to the pub, or making the most of the terrace whenever the British weather allows. We also respect each other’s space and both have busy jobs during the week, so it’s a nice balance of social and chilled.

The tenancy:

We’re planning to move to Australia around July 2027, so we’re looking for someone who’d be happy staying until then. After we move, you’d have the option of taking over the lease yourself (with friends if you wanted) or finding new housemates through SpareRoom.

* Easy-going and tidy.
* Enjoys a chat and is up for the occasional drink or BBQ.
* Happy living in a relaxed, friendly home rather than just renting a room.
