Description
I am looking to welcome someone into my homely spare room. The available spare room comes fully furnished, with amples of storage space, including a large double wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 bedside tables. Duvets/pillows can be made available if needed in addition to a TV that is already on the wall there.(note photos include a screen which will not be in the room once rented out)
You will have access to all shared areas of the flat which is a fully stocked kitchen and homely living room with possibly the comfiest sofa in the world ! There is a balcony that enjoys sunshine in the afternoons in the summer!
The flat sits in a larger development – where as part of your rent you will have access to a 24/7 gym and concierge, in addition to having the ability to reserve a parking space for 2-3 days / month via an online portal (subject to availability).
About me: I am a business manager and work in the office in Canary Wharf 5 days / week.
I have a 5-year-old dog called Charlie (as seen in the pictures!) who shares my home with me. He is very lazy and spends most of his time asleep curled up on the sofa or my bed, however he does provide very excitable greetings when anyone arrives home. He does not shed fur and is hypoallergenic, although it is important that any prospective tenant enjoys a dogs’ company to make sure you’re comfortable! He goes to doggy day-care on the days I’m in the office.
I enjoy running, gym and dance, as well as frequenting the local pubs in Greenwich! I am an average cook but will attempt with enthusiasm and love to eat. I am social and always up for getting to know new people, but similarly might want to relax and respect peoples’ privacy during a possibly tiring working week.
I am proud of my home and enjoy keeping it clean and tidy so that it is a nice place to come home to after a day in the office. A bi-weekly cleaner will be included in your rent.
About the area:
The area has many amenities nearby with a choice of Supermarkets within a few mins walk, Trafalgar Road has lots of trendy eateries as well. The River Thames is less than 5 mins walk away with many gastro pubs overlooking the river.
Several different travel options based on where you want to get to. Maze Hill train station is a 13 minute walk away, providing regular trains to London Bridge in 10 mins, or the Thameslink to St Pancras in approx. 20 mins. North Greenwich Jubilee line is a short bus ride away (5 mins) or a 17 min walk. Cutty Sark DLR is 12 mins walk away providing a fast connection to Canary Wharf. The Greenwich River service is 12 mins away and provides an alternative way to reach areas such as Southbank, Waterloo, Blackfriars, London Eye and Westminster.
Greenwich town centre is 10 mins walk away and has a beautiful bustling market and numerous pubs along the river en route.
Greenwich Royal Park is a 10 minute walk and one the most beautiful parks in London, with views over the city.
