Bright and spacious double bedroom available to rent in SE10.
The property is a 2 bed, 2 bathroom property with a balcony. (Ctx band C). The living room/kitchen is open plan with oven, cooker, microwave, blender, dishwasher, toaster etc.
The room itself consists of a double bed, wardrobe, cube storage unit and a bedside table. The room also has a desk, ideal for WFH. I have an ensuit, however the main bathroom is the only one with a bath. This will predominately be yours, but obviously will also be used by guests for the toilet.
The rent is all inclusive of bills, including wifi.
About me: I’m a friend and social guy. I can hold a convo, inclusive when it comes to social. Equally, I respect people’s need for space and their own socials. Happy to co-host events, pre-drinks, games night, Eurovision gathering etc and happy to give space for you to do your own thing. Additionally, I’m always down for finding a good series to plot up and watch.
Monday to Friday office hours and a mix of wfh and office based. Weekday evenings are quite calm for me as I have my routine…work, cook, gym, and therefore weekday sleep hygiene is important – i. e. no slamming doors, bashing around the kitchen or in the bath at midnight. Occasionally, that’s fine but if your standard routine is cooking and bathing at midnight/early hours – you’re probably not a good fit.
Weekends can vary – I like to be social. A walk in Greenwich park, Sunday roast, pub/bar or games night with wine., or a Sat night out.
That aside, it would be nice to have a flatmate where we can do a few social events. Tbh I’m pretty much open door/welcoming to friendship groups. I equally appreciate you may also want to do your own thing, and totally get that.
About you:
Ideally gay/bi. You have to be clean/tidy – able to wipe down the side after cooking or take the rubbish out if the bin is full.
In terms of cleaning, a week on/week off rota. I do one week, you do the next week, and so on. For me, communal areas should be kept clean and tidy for each other.
Ideally, a flatmate who has a bit of ‘go’ about them, enjoys fitness, can be social – not sat around the house all week, and definitely not WFH for life.
Living together is a two-way street. I want someone who can communicate effectively. We will each have our own habits or annoyances – it happens and will be part of learning about each other…as long as we can communicate and it not be taken as a personal thing then things are all good.
