Double room+private bathroom in church conversion

So we’d prefer someone that’s queer, not a cis man and in their 30s (but a bit more relaxed on the age bit).

Unfortunately the place isn’t suitable for couples or pets, really sorry.

There’s a £980 deposit required, our bills are shared equally and are £100-£150 each and you’d be signing up to a new contract from 20 September 2024 for 1 year.

Double room with private bathroom in 2-bed flat share in a converted church, just off Well Street by Homerton overground station.

The flat is split level over the 1st and 2nd floors of the building (no lift available). The kitchen and living room are open plan and on the same level as your bedroom and bathroom, and our bedroom and bathroom are on the floor above. Our flat is at the back of the building and the room has a big window looking into an enclosed shared yard/garden, so it’s pretty peaceful/quiet.

The room can be totally unfurnished if you like or you can buy the furniture that’s there (the 2 x railed IKEA OMAR shelves and storage bed really make the most of the space so we would recommend)

You’d be sharing with Gemma and Ellen, a couple in our 30s. Ellen is Swedish graphic designer and Gemma is Irish and works in risk.

As the kitchen and living room are open plan and we do a day or 2 a week at home too, it might be a bit of a struggle if you needed to WFH predominantly in the communal space / WFH most days. There’s space for a bureau / something along those lines in your room though…and just let us know your situation, we can figure it out ☺️

We are pretty social and love having people over but defo don’t want a party house and would love a really peaceful, thoughtful set-up.

We will be able to do weekend and evening viewings flexibly. Even though we’ve plenty of time we are up for getting everything sorted ASAP as our housemate is returning to Australia and we’d like her to feel like it’s all in hand ☺️
