Our housemate is moving out of our huge top floor flat in the heart of Hackney with a massive private roof terrace, wooden floors, big open plan kitchen and living space.

The room is available from approx 18th January.

The Flat:
- Wooden floors throughout
- Huge wrap around private roof balcony that catches the sun, we have some outdoor furniture to enjoy a drink on
- Top-floor apartment with lift
- Very secure (digital keypads + fob access to each private floor)
- 5 mins from Hackney Downs overground, 10 mins from Hackney Central overground, good connections by bus to Angel, Stoke Newington, etc.
- Located on quiet side street
- Open plan living room + kitchen
- 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms- you’ll have the en-suite.

The room:
- Super spacious, bright and airy
- Ensuite bathroom

Who we're looking for:

We have been living here for several years and we are looking for a relaxed housemate to move in and share the space. This isn't a party flat, but more a place to relax in (there are loads of pubs and venues a short walk from the flat which we often frequent). We occasionally have friends over, but this is not a place that is constantly full of people.

Ideally, we would like someone who is clean and respectful of shared spaces (we have a weekly cleaning rota) and is equally happy with an evening in or has their own stuff going on outside. We would like a housemate who can take care of the space with us and is happy to pitch in on home life.

A bit about us:

We are two Irish women in our 30s, working in the NHS and tech. Into cooking, food/wine, great TV/film, gym/yoga.

The boring stuff:
- The room is £1, 100 (rent + water)
- Bills come around £100-150 per month and include electricity and heating, council tax, and broadband
- A reference check is required by the landlord
- There is a holding fee of £400 while the references are being checked which can be rolled into the rent.
