Double room in Hackney Central

Hi there,

We are looking for someone to join our lovely Hackney home from the 12th of August.

We are situated a 7 minute walk from Hackney Central station in a quiet square of houses.

The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 3 floor terraced house, with a small kitchen, a good sized living room and a garden. Your room comes unfurnished (although current housemate would be up selling stuff if you’re interested) and it is a large double with space for a desk.

The rent is £1150 excluding bills. Bills come to £135 a month. Deposit is £1192.31. You would be joining a new 12-month tenancy agreement (starting for all of us on 12 August) and would need to go through a referencing process with the estate agents (you have to be in full time employment etc).

We are two good friends that met on spare room a few years ago and got very lucky! We have lived in the house for a year and sadly our other housemate is moving out of London. Dani is 28 and works in marketing on social impact campaigns. Sophie is 30 and a civil servant. We absolutely adore our home and keep it very clean and tidy. We love cooking excessive amounts of pasta, binging detective dramas, having our pals over for dinner, Wednesday morning yoga class and bbqing every chance we get. We are looking for someone friendly and clean who would like a home not just a room.

The location is great - being just a short walk to Hackney Central station and Mare Street. Big Tesco is a 5 min walk and there’s a small Sainsbury’s nearby. We’ve also got the gorgeous Chesham Arms just down the road!
