We are looking for a calm and kind person to join our sunny home in Homerton, just north of Victoria Park. The room a small cosy furnished room (double bed and wardrobe). The apartment is a maisonette, so all but one bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. The living area is an open plan kitchen and living room, with a small sunny balcony. You can see from the pictures that the apartment is well looked after and is really comfortable and homely. The hob is gas and the oven is electric. There are two fridges and freezers and lots of cupboard space. There is gas central heating and a nice hot shower with good water pressure. We have a good washing machine and also a tumble dryer. The building is a local authority building- the neighbours are mostly families. The street is quiet, with views to the trees of Victoria Park. There is a little shop nearby, with Homerton shops and facilities and supermarkets a 10 minute walk. Homerton overground station is a 3 minute walk and trains run frequently and connect to underground in just a few stops (Stratford/Angel).
We are looking for a clean, non-smoking professional housemate. We work in education, retail and hospitality. We are quiet in the week, more sociable during weekends but enjoy sharing meals at least once a week so we are looking for someone similar who would fit in 🥰
The rent for the room is £650. Plus £90 for bills. The £90 for bills includes gas, electric, water, council tax, wifi. The bills have been adjusted for the recent energy cost increases, so they should stay the same for the foreseeable future.
We all have individual contracts with the landlord. Deposit is one month's rent . Rent and bills need to be transferred each month so that they are received by the 1st of each month. The landlord will ask for a reference and confirmation from your employer, identification and that you stay for a minimum of three months.
