Room in Hackney

Hello everyone,

We live in a lovely, cosy flat in a perfect location in Hackney. It’s just a few meters from the 26 bus, which takes you straight to the centre of London. Additionally, we are only a 5-minute walk from Victoria Park Village, home to great coffee shops and restaurants. If that’s not enough, London Fields and Broadway Market are just 10 minutes away in the other direction. Tesco and Lidl are also nearby, and for those lazy days, there’s a corner shop right next to the flat.

Our flat features a spacious living room, ensuring everyone feels comfortable. There’s also an amazing, large terrace—although it’s a bit chilly at the moment, it’s still a lovely spot to sit outside, and we can’t wait to enjoy the sun there in the summer.

Double Room

We have a double room available in our lovely flat. The pictures may be a bit outdated since our previous flatmate has moved out. The room comes with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, but we can rearrange things if you prefer. Currently, it doesn’t have a desk, but our landlord is usually accommodating, so we can sort that out if needed. The room stays warm in the winter and gets plenty of sunlight throughout the day. There are hangers outside the room just for you, and there’s extra space available in the living room for additional storage if required.

About Us

You’ll be living with me Ivana (29), Colm (37), and Morty the cat. All three of us are pretty laid-back and tidy (though Morty can be a bit lazy!). Colm and I are currently working from home or the office, so the flat is quiet and peaceful during the week. However, we enjoy unwinding over the weekend with a few drinks or some food. We’re simply looking for someone who is tidy, considerate, and easy to get along with to share our home. Please only apply if you are an animal lover, as our cat Morty likes to be involved in everyone’s lives in the flat! The contract is for 12 months, and we would love to have someone looking to stay longer in the area. We hope you’ll get to know us better when you come for a viewing.

Transport

Bus to Liverpool St from right outside takes 30 minutes, along with other nearby buses into the city.
Hackney Central Overground – 15-minute walk.
London Fields Overground – 10-minute walk.
Homerton Overground – 10-minute walk.
