✨ DEC/JAN MOVE-IN: Bright, modern flat in perfect London Fields location! ✨
Hi London! My flatmate of 2 years is moving in with his partner, so I'm looking for someone new to share my lovely flat from December onwards. 🏡
The flat is pretty special - we've got a very nice open-plan living space with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony (complete with artificial grass!). The space is really bright and with hardwood floors, a modern kitchen (with dishwasher), and a comfy living area perfect for relaxing or having friends over. Location is amazing - 5 minutes to Victoria Park, 7 to London Fields station, and Broadway Market just around the corner.
The room itself is cozy but well-designed - fits a double bed nicely, comes with a large built-in mirrored wardrobe, and has brand new carpet (literally installed last month!). The flat has good storage and the bedroom gets natural light from a window and own door onto the balcony.
About me: I'm 28, Dutch-English, and run my own climate NGO. Been in London for 2.5 years (previously Oxford, Amsterdam, and Seattle). I'm looking to create a comfortable, easy-going home where we can chat over dinner or drinks, but also respect each other's space. I'm clean, fairly tidy, and enjoy running, climbing, and good conversations about politics and life.
The practical bits:
• Rent is £1120 per month
• Bills usually around £120 (includes water, energy, internet and council tax)
• 12-month contract from 29th December 2024
• Must pass full referencing checks including proof of full-time employment, right to Rent/valid visa status, and credit check
• Available for 1st December move-in
I'm looking for someone who's:
• Easy-going and social
• Clean and considerate
• Somewhat settled in London
• Up for regular flat dinners/chats
As we'll be sharing a home, I'd love to find someone I can really get on with. I'm doing viewings THIS WEEK (18-24 Nov) and hoping to find the right person asap.
If this sounds like your kind of place, it would be great if you could tell me:
• A bit about yourself
• Your typical routines (WFH/office, morning/evening person, introvert/extrovert, etc)
• When you could view next week
• What your preferred move-in date is
Looking forward to meeting potential flatmates! 😊
