Light-filled room in Victorian hackney terrace

Looking for someone to join our house, a beautiful four-bed Victorian terraced house on a tree-lined street in Lower Clapton, Hackney! The available room has a super comfy large double storage bed, clothing rack and desk. Storage in the house for things you don't need regular access to can be negotiated.

You’ll be sharing with Mike (working in Finance in R&D) and Rachel (strategy consultant in healthcare). We're chatty when we bump into each other in the house - usually the kitchen! - but we are quite active and have the usual busy London lives. We’d love to find someone who is tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. We WFH most of the time and keep the living room as a home office, so no shared living room I'm afraid. We have decking in the back garden for shared use for yoga in the sun and BBQs.

We're 5-6mins from Homerton which takes you into Highbury & Islington and there are plenty of buses. Clapton is famous for great bars, cafes and restaurants and Chatsworth Road and its Sunday market is only 5mins walk away. A gym and an Coop is also 8mins walk.

The room is available from the start of January - potentially earlier in December on negotiation. One month rent deposit and one month rent in advance required. Bills (water, gas, electricity, broadband, council tax) and a fortnightly visit from the cleaner are included.
