Double room in a lovely 2-bed by Hackney Central

Hey,

My housemate is moving out to save money & I’m looking for someone to join me in this lovely flat.

With bills the monthly costs come to about 1250. The flat is a generous size for a 2 bed. The large shared living room opens up to a balcony which picks up lots of sun throughout the day. There’s room if you have things you’d like to bring as my current housemate will be taking some of her furnishings with her.

The area is very good. 7min walk to Hackney Central overground, 4mins to big Tescos and the high street. London fields and Victoria park are about 15min walk away too. It’s easy to get to other main stations e. g Stratford and Highbury & Islington too.

The room will be unfurnished but my housemate is selling her bed, mattress and wardrobe (all a year old). The mattress has always been used with a mattress protector.

Mattress - £70
Colourful side tables and short bookshelf have some marks/chips in the paint and can be left for free if wanted.

I’d really love to become friends with whoever moves in & am looking for someone who is similarly keen for that. I’m a primary teacher so the flat is free on weekdays which would be perfect if you work from home. I’m usually in bed pretty early (around 9) and then up early (around 6).

About me:
I love anything outdoorsy, artsy and musicy. During term-time I’m often quite knackered from teaching but when I’m not preserving energy, I love doing artsy stuff at home or hanging out with friends. I partially love karaoke-ing, going to gigs or productions or just ambling around London. I’m also vegan & queer so if you’re some kinda veggie/queer that would be great too!
