About me: I’m Will, sociable, tidy, single dad with my daughter 3 days a week (she’s lovely and respectful). For her comfort, I’d prefer a female flatmate, as it helps her feel more reassured having a female presence in the home. It’s not a hard rule, but it’s her preference, and in my experience female housemates also tend to be cleaner, tidier and more respectful, which fits the set-up here.
