Looking for someone to take over my room as I moving out over the next month!

The bedroom is on the first floor, with window facing the street making it bright during the daytime. Comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers (desk and chair not included). Although not a big room, still enough space for an office area if working from home.

Sharing a bathroom (toilet and shower) with two others also on the first floor. Separate bathroom on ground floor used by other two housemates.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge, microwave and brand new washing machine. Open plan dining area and separate lounge area. Plenty of shelving and storage space including space for clothes drying rack. Garden with small seating area which is great in warm weather, and space for a bike.

Housemates are working professionals, a friendly bunch with a diverse range of careers who will catch up in the kitchen and occasionally go out for a drink together, but have social and work lives outside the house also. Looking for someone who is easy-going to fit into the group dynamic.

Located in a beautiful, leafy area, which is the highlight of the property in my opinion! 5 minutes walk from Victoria Park ideal for a run , walk or to shop at the weekly market. Also lots of cozy cafes, bakeries, pubs and a wine bar on your doorstep. Convenience stores also within 2 minutes walk, and large supermarkets (Tesco and Lidl) 10 minutes walk away.

15 mins walk to London Fields and Homerton overground station. 10 mins bus or cycle to Mile End underground. Several bus stops just round the corner, including bus routes 277, 425 and 388.

All bills are included in the rent (heating, water, council tax, wifi with good connection in bedroom) . Bills had a £150 one-off payment at the beginning of the tenancy which I have already paid. Also included is a monthly cleaner for common areas. Otherwise, housemates keep the area clean and tidy.

Of note - requires a £50 payment to the letting agency for admin to switch names on the contract.

I am only moving out as I am moving jobs - otherwise I have had no issues here! You would be replacing me on a contract which runs until end of May 2026, with option to extend after this. Move it date by 28th October with flexibility for weeks before then. Please message me via spare room with a short introduction, your availability for a viewing around 20th - 25th September and any questions you might have.
