Small room in lovely house in Hackney Central

Hi, we live in a lovely house in a quiet close right next to Hackney central (Mildmay and Weaver overground lines) and close to many shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The close has a good community and is very safe and calm. Move-in date is flexible.

A bit about the other flatmates:

Hi, I’m Ally. I’m 25 and I made my move across the pond in 2022 to do a Master’s in Latin American Studies. I currently work for a health and social care research and consulting firm, where I lead on patient engagement to understand how the NHS and other charities can fill gaps in healthcare. In
my free time, I enjoy running, seeing West End shows, travelling, and a good stand-up comedy show.

Hi, I’m Nina! I’ve been living in the UK for over 10 years, mostly in Scotland, London, and Oxford. Ally and I met doing our Master’s. I currently work for a communications and policy advisory firm, where I specialise in AI policy. When not at work, I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee, swimming, and checking out art galleries!

The room currently has a double bed but could have a single to make it more spacious. It has lots of under-bed storage and a large cupboard next to the room for all your things. You would be sharing a bathroom with only one person since Nina has her own.

The house has a lovely garden, large living area with a desk if you need to work/ study from home and plenty of space to relax. There is also a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a communal garden to park your bike and a private gate leading out to hackney central.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, clean and will contribute to the communal-feel of the house. We sometimes have house events like dinners or movie nights.
