We have two rooms going in a 3 bed 1.5 bath flat in Homerton, in a wonderful location for a year long lease.
Located right next to the overground train station, a short walk to Chatsworth Road, Well Street, Victoria Park, Hackney Marshes and the canal this is a location you can’t beat. You can easily walk to Hackney Central, Hackney Downs and Lower Clapton area in 10-15 mins. Overground on Mildmay line, connects to Victoria Line as well as two stops away from Stratford for central, jubilee, DLR etc. Many nearby buses nearby incl. 30, 26, 236, 276, taking you to Dalston, Stoke Newington, all the way to central too.
The flat is ground floor/basement split on two levels, with two bedrooms and a half bath downstairs and living room, kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom upstairs. There is also a large courtyard which gets sun majority of the day making it a great place to host and dry your washing outside!
The first room avalible is on the ground floor and is available from December 30 (open to earlier) and the second is on the basement level will be available from January 14. Both rooms come furnished with a bed, dresser and wardrobe. Other items such as a desk, chair, bedside table and lamp are available to purchase from both tenants moving out.
Rent is £2650 total so comes out to £883.33 per person. I believe the deposit is one months rent. You will be starting a new year long tenancy with a 6 month break clause. Bills come to about 100 each month for wifi, gas and electricity. We pay for water every six months as well. The agency are very responsive, always sending people when we have had problems.
A bit about Dodi the current flatmate: I’m 25 and I work in 9-5 in Public Health, mostly office based. I see myself as very easy going and would love to keep a relaxed vibe going in the flat. I very much enjoy my own space but am always down to hang out in or out of the flat from time to time. I love staying active, music and gigs, a coffee and a walk, going out to eat, or a movie night.
Hoping to find flatmates who are sociable, but respect each other’s space and keep things tidy!
