Hi everyone! I’m looking for a new flatmate as my current one will be moving out soon. The room available is a lovely double bedroom in a bright two-bed flat in the heart of Hackney — perfect for a professional woman in her 30s looking for a friendly, comfortable home.

About Me and Who I'm Looking For

I’m a sociable, cheerful and easy-going person who enjoys a chat over dinner or a casual catch-up, but I also value downtime and independence — especially at home. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who:
• Is a professional woman in her 30s, working full time, with the right to live/work in the UK and able to provide references.
• Is independent, has her own life and friends, and is happy doing her own thing — but also enjoys the occasional shared meal or conversations.
• Is clean and tidy, especially in shared areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
• Is considerate about having friends over and gives a heads-up when planning things at home.
• Enjoys a mix of office and home working — the flat has a desk in the living room for WFH days, but someone who naturally prefers working from the office a few days per week would fit well with the flat.

• Fully furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe, and a bedside table
• Bright, comfortable, and perfect for someone who wants their own space to unwind

• A warm and homely two-bed flat on the top floor (please note: no lift, so not suitable for people with mobility issues). There is central heating throughout.
• Shared areas include: living room (with relaxation area, workstation and large refectory-style table); kitchen (with washer, dishwasher and large SMEG fridge freezer); bathroom with underfloor heating and bath/shower).
• Fantastic location in Hackney, one of London’s most vibrant and creative neighbourhoods.

• Rent: £1,000 per month
• Bills: approx. £215/month/person
○ Gas/electricity: up to £100 (higher in winter; lower in summer)

○ Internet: £12.50 (will increase in April 2026)

• Deposit: One month’s rent
• Move-in date: 26 January 2026
