Double Room in 3-Storey Hackney Central Home

We’ve just moved into our new home in Hackney Central and are looking for a third person to join us and complete the house.

About a 10-minute walk to Hackney Central station. Close to loads of great cafés, shops, and green space.

🛏 The Room
Double room with clothes rail, desk, and chair (can be removed if you prefer).
Futon will be removed, but for reference, it is the dimensions of a double bed!

About Us:

Zoe (24)
Works in Television as a Broadcast Engineer. Loves travelling, playing sports, learning Italian, and is always up for cooking dinner together or playing board games. May gently encourage you to join Parkrun.

Alfie (27)
Works as a Software Architect for ITV and has lived in East London for nearly three years. Outside of work, he’s at the gym, swimming (at the lido ofc), playing korfball, baking focaccia, hosting game nights, gardening, and trying new food spots around East London. Very house proud and big on making a place feel like home.

Together, we enjoy watching TV in the evenings - our favourites at the moment: The Traitors, Drag Race, Love Island + Survivor. We have been known to go for coffee at the weekends, walking down to Broadway market and enjoying the local area. We are both veggie but not fussed about your dietary requirements.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’d love someone who wants to be a friend, not just a housemate. We are both people who enjoy spending our downtime together, and would love someone who wants to cook dinner together occasionally, go to a pub, play board games and generally hang out. We also really value our own space and quiet time. It’s a nice balance.

We’re clean and tidy and would like someone who’s the same. Someone who doesn’t need to be reminded to tidy up after themselves. This isn’t a party house, but it is a social, warm, and welcoming one.

No couples, no pets, ideally no smokers.

Bills:

Estimated £120–130 per month (we’ve only just moved in, so still working out exact figures).
