Double bedroom in Victoria Park flat

I'm renting out the second bedroom in my two bedroom flat. The room is a good size with a double bed and high quality Emma memory foam mattress. There's a wardrobe for storage. There are two bathrooms, one of which will be used only by you and any guests.

The flat is 750 sq ft and has a kitchen, a living room and a small balcony. You're welcome to use any of the shared spaces, and there's a desk in the living room if you want to work from home.

Sharing the flat with you will be me and my dog, Mabel. I'm a 40-year-old man and a maths teacher, which means that I'm out of the flat from about 7am to 6pm each weekday. Mabel is a one-year-old medium-sized dog, and she has a daily dog walker when I'm at work. She is very friendly and fun, and my hope is that I find a dog-loving flatmate who will enjoy hanging out with her as much as I do.

When I'm not working I enjoy music (my flat is full of vinyl), socialising and watching documentaries. I want the flat to be a welcoming and sociable place so I'm looking for a flatmate who enjoys a chat at times. Inviting people back to the flat is absolutely fine, but not for wild parties.

The flat is a less than 10 minute walk to Homerton Overground station. It's next to Well Street Common and close to Victoria Park. There's a Tesco nearby and plenty of good pubs in the vicinity.

I'm looking for a flatmate who wants at least a medium-long rental period, so 6 months minimum. At Christmas my wife and son return to London so I will need you to vacate the room for a two-week period. The rent for December will be reduced by 50%.
