Beautiful flat, perfect location

Hi all,

We are Mark and Matt (couple) currently renting a room in a beautiful 2 bed flat right by London Fields, Vicky P and (more importantly...) Lidl.

Our current housemate is moving to Glasgow so a room is available. There are two rooms in the flat, one larger than the other. We're currently in the smaller room and are very happy to stay in there if you want the big room, but if you want the smaller room for the cheaper rent that's also good. The split is:
Larger room £1450
Smaller room £1300

The bills are split per person so work out at about £120 each based on 3 people living here (that's for everything including internet).

Its a really special flat that is a real home and somewhere people enjoy spending time in. Its also really light and bright with huge windows in every room.

Downstairs: A HUGE living room (the pictures don't do it justice!) with original wooden floorboards, a big bay window and high ceilings. There's a separate big kitchen with loads of cupboard space, a small dining table and a dishwasher. There is a really handy storage space under the stairs. There are also two(!) (front and back) gardens for any fellow gardeners out there and off-street parking on the driveway.

Upstairs: Two bedrooms. The larger room has built in wardrobes and a window overlooking the back garden. The smaller room comes with a large cupboard in the hallway and there is also some more space at the top of the stairs where you can fit some drawers too. The bathroom is amazing with a separate large bathtub, two sinks (so you'll have your own), and a really good shower.

Please note that the flat comes unfurnished. We already have most things but if you have any furniture to bring that's great. My housemate will be taking her bed and mattress so you'll need to bring your own (there are loads available for cheap on Gumtree so don't let that put you off!).

A bit about us: We're really relaxed, clean, considerate and easy to live with. We always keep the place clean and organised but we're not over the top about it. We both work outside of the house, regular office hours (I sometimes WFH but not very often). We also spend a lot of time outside of the flat with friends/family and making the most of living in London. We're into art, theatre, go to a lot of gigs, gym and eating out. We really love to cook and have people over for dinner from time to time.

We're looking for someone who's chilled and easy going but who is also considerate and also wants to stay long term. We do really like to be friends with housemates too and love a flat dinner, but we're also looking for someone who has their own stuff going on. The room is available from 1st August and you'll be signing a new tenancy with us on OpenRent so the usual OpenRent check/references will apply. The landlord is really friendly and good at getting things sorted as and when they are needed.

Couples: Its a really big flat so I don't think it would be a problem if you are a couple (I think 2 couples have lived here before).
