Huge room in lovely flat in London Fields, Hackney

Hi there,

We are James and Rebecca. Our flatmate Anne-Lise is moving out and so this lovely, very spacious room is available in our flat.

The room is available 1st November - with the possibility to be a few weeks earlier in October.

I am from Oxford, England and Rebecca is from Germany and we are looking for a friendly, open-minded person to move in.

We would like someone we can get to know a bit, so somewhat sociable people preferred. We have a good sense of humour and a laugh together, and we have interesting discussions about politics / society. Even the difficult topics... But that's not mandatory. People who are not into that need not be put off.

In terms of vibe and general lifestyle we potter and sometimes go out at weekends for a coffee - probably less likely in winter :'( and sometimes for food. Rebecca definitely goes out more because she loves Berlin-style techno music. I'm interested in art, I go swimming several times a week, and I also do music production as a hobby (with headphones on!) We both work pretty much all week in the office, with an occasional day from home, and someone who follows a similar rhythm would be good. In the week we try to prioritise precious sleep and be quiet at night.

We're looking for decent, reliable person who will help us look after the flat and value it as a home. We keep it to a fairly clean standard and it's generally quite easy to look after.

Without a doubt this is the best place both of us have ever lived. It's a wonderful flat. It's on a quiet street, away from the main road and gets plenty of light and fresh air.

The kitchen is modern and has a fridge and freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher (but it is currently broken!!). The living room is lovely, but we no longer have the music set-up :'(

Bottom line:

Rent £1062.00 pcm + bills (c. tax, gas, elec, internet = £110) + water, which is quite modest, paid every few months.

Deposit approx 6 weeks rent (I think!)

There is a reference check. In the past the check has asked for an income of 30 X monthly rent, so ~£32,000 per annum.
