Double Room Available Hackney Wick

Hey there! We're Rubens and David. Two friends and current flat mates looking to find a new soul to fill a room in our amazing Hackney Wick flat.

The Area:
Situated in an amazing area located one minute walk to Hackney Wick Overground Station, five minutes lime bike to Stratford, and around the corner from Hackney Bridge and Canal. Dozens of places to eat, drink, dance and explore, as well as endless open green spaces on our doorstep.

The Room:
The offering is a good sized double room, with a window facing out onto a courtyard (pictured), that is private to the block's residents. Sharing the bathroom (pictured) with David. Furniture for the room can be discussed.

The flat:
Large and spacious, high ceilings, open plan kitchen-living room set up, decent sized balcony. On-site friendly concierge. Great convenience shop downstairs. Forgive the horizontal photos...we're busy easily distracted people!

Future flatmate:
We're looking for someone who will fit into the flat set up we've created and is hoping to be apart of a new little community. We both lead busy social and professional lives, and the flat is a place we recharge, enjoy socialising and having some time to ourselves. We hope to find someone who is keen for similar, and who's life and desires for a home would fit with ours nicely.

About us:
We are both liberal, open minded and welcoming of people from all backgrounds. Both clean and tidy and maintain a pretty high standard for the flat without being overly intense about it.
Non smoker preferable. We're open to pets but would have to check with landlord.

Rubens, 34 from Brazil, I am a freelance massage professional working in the adult industry. My schedule varies and I travel for work about once a month, sometimes for longer trips. I’m very active, enjoy fitness, cooking and having friends over occasionally. I’m also part of the sex-positive and Burn communities and run couples’ workshops in London and Stockholm. I’m easy-going, very social but also value having a relaxed home and respecting each other’s space.

David - 36 year old doctor about to finish GP training. I'm on a mostly 9-17.00 schedule in the office/surgery. Currently single. Enjoys festivals, cooking, electronic music/a little rave now and then, exercise and fitness, travel, socialising with friends and new people alike....a generally chilled and sociable guy.

£1100 PCM + bills which come to approx £150/month (including council tax and rapid wi-fi). Moving in date approx. weekend of 17th/18th October - but open to discussion, could be ASAP if needed. As per landlord/contract, must earn minimum £33,000 annually. Unable to update the ad, but to cover previous friends rent, deposit would be £1416.
