HOMESHARE OPPORTUNITY

We are delighted to offer a lovely Homeshare opportunity available immediately for someone to live comfortably and affordably in a gorgeous part of North West London, in return for providing some companionship and practical support to a lovely older lady in her 80’s.

**£240 per month + small contribution to bills**

What the Opportunity Involves:

In return for the low-cost accommodation we are looking to match our Homeowner with a kind and happy female Sharer who can provide some help with practical tasks that our Homeowner finds difficult, some friendly companionship and a reassuring presence at night. No personal care is permitted.

Our Homeowner is in her mid-80s and spends most of her time at home due to her current limited mobility. She has a close and large family who check in with her regularly and carers come regularly to help her in the mornings and take her to appointments as well as helping around the house. She has previous experience home-sharing and is looking forward to her new Homeshare.

Our Homeowner is otherwise quite independent and wishes to remain so as much as possible. She keeps herself busy by reading, keeping up with current affairs and paperwork and watching television. She particularly likes antiques programmes and quizzes.

The ideal Sharer will be a mature female, ideally working or studying on a hybrid or flexible basis, who is a happy person with a good sense of humour, clean and tidy and looking for a warm and comfortable place to live.

Someone who will help with simple chores that our Homeowner finds difficult eg emptying the rubbish regularly, putting the bins out or shopping away, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, and helping with basic IT support. Our homeowner would really enjoy sharing a few hours in some evenings chatting over a meal or watching a good drama on tv together.

Cost: £240 per month
This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do NOT pay any rent to the Homeowner. There is also a small monthly contribution towards energy bills and council tax.
