New House mate wanted for our Harringay house

We're looking for a lovely individual to join our homely house on the Harringay Ladder.

— Rent: 610/pm (includes Council Tax)
— Bills: £110/pm (pays for weekly cleaner, internet, utilities and household/cleaning products)
— Available from Monday 9th December 2024
— One month deposit (610) and references required.

The room:

This is a bright, good sized double bedroom on the 1st floor that looks out onto the back garden. It is neutrally decorated with a beige carpet.

It comes part-furnished with a double bed and mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The desk may or may not also be staying in the room - to be decided. There are more chests of drawers spare in the basement, and other furniture can be requested from the landlords if required.

The house:

Our home is a large Victorian house with high ceilings on a quiet residential road. Its six-bedrooms are spread across three floors and we have two bathrooms and an extra toilet, so you'll only have to share a bathroom with two others which means no queues in the morning, and the kitchen rarely feels crowded.

There’s no living room, but we socialise in the big, plant-filled kitchen or the garden.

The garden is lovely and we use it a lot in the warmer months – perfect for someone interested in growing their own veg!

We have a washing machine and tumble dryer.

We have a weekly cleaner who covers the communal areas (this is included in the bills).

There is permit residential parking on the street outside if required.

•⁠ Tom (30), works from home for a media agency, enjoys seeing friends, going to the pub, seeing live music.
•⁠ ⁠Patri (26) Singer-songwriter, host at Peng Femme Jam, loves people, cooking, going out and travelling.

The area:

We’re on the highly desirable Harringay ladder (N4), three minutes away from the bustling Green Lanes with 24/7 shops, cafes, fantastic restaurants and one of the best pubs in London.

The area is safe and has excellent transport links (less than 25 mins into central London)

Who we're looking for:

We all have quite different schedules. We work in various fields with some of us working from home full or part-time, some of us working elsewhere, and enjoy a range of social activities. We get on well and enjoy the house feeling homely, having good kitchen chats, sometimes going out together or throwing the occasional party. We're looking for someone sociable and friendly who'd like to be involved in the life of the house and isn't just looking for somewhere to sleep. Ability to clear up after yourself thoroughly in the kitchen, willingness to communicate on the house group chat and contribute to household tasks on own initiative all musts!
