Double room in a large garden flat

I’m looking for someone to take over my double room in this Herne Hill house share.

The flat is furnished and has really large living spaces to enjoy. A huge perk is the lovely private garden – in the summer Rita spends a lot of time growing things and taking care of it, and you’d be welcome to get involved in that too if that’s your thing. It’s perfect for BBQ’ing.

You’ll be living with Sydney and Rita who are both very considerate and respectful housemates. They’re looking for someone around 30 who is clean and tidy. While you’re welcome to host/ have friends over, it’s not a party house.

I cannot overstate how amazing the local area is. Brockwell park is just a few minutes from your door – in my opinion one of the most beautiful parks in London and perfect for jogging/ strolling round, with a fantastic lido which is so wonderful in the summer. Herne Hill has tons of coffee shops, pubs and independent retailers. It’s also got great transport connections – Victoria is 10 minutes on the overground, Blackfriars 10-15 minutes. Brixton and the tube is a 20ish minute walk or short bus ride away. There’s also cycle storage round the side of the house and central London is easily accessible on bike.

In terms of the room, it’s a good sized double that comes with a bed and wardrobe. It doesn’t come with a desk but you can fit one in, so working from home is very do-able.
