Cosy room in Arsenal 🌈

Hello! We're Lou (they/them) and Cat (she/her) and we're looking for a new housemate to join us in our cosy home.

The house itself is pretty spacious, with a garden, big living room and dining area, basement and one shared bathroom with a bath (and plenty of candles). It's conveniently located- only a super short walk from Arsenal & Finsbury Park station.

Please note that the space isn't suitable for anyone WFH (inc hybrid), so we are only open to housemates with working arrangements outside of the house.

Your room is quite small, but it is mega cosy in the Winter and has the best view of the garden, and is quite private from the other rooms. It would come with a bed but the rest of the furniture is our outgoing housemate's.

The house is perfectly located- 11 mins from arsenal to kings cross and 20 mins bus to Dalston. There are also beautiful parks all around - Gillespie, Clissold and Highbury fields are short walks away. The high street is just a few doors down and has so many options for brunch etc! There's generally a lively and community feel to the neighbourhood (esp on match days) but the house and road still feels calm.

A little bit more about us -Lou works in the games industry and loves working on the the garden & elaborate fancy dress costumes (usually not at the same time). Cat is a Geography teacher who has just returned from travelling for a year. We met on Spareroom in 2021 and have been good friends ever since. You'll often catch us chatting on the sofas after work or going to the pub, but we also have our independent lives.

We are preferably looking for a queer woman and/or an afab person, but we also are open to allies :)

We are hoping to do viewings on 29-30th August and the move in date would be 15th September. Happy to do a zoom chat if you aren't in London then.
