SHORT TERM one-bed flat in Newington Green / N5

Hi, please read on before messaging. This is a short-term sublet - I'm not looking for a long-term flatmate/tenant.

I am subletting my flat from 10 January until 8 February. It would suit a couple or single person and the price is £1,700 (negotiable) including all bills.

I will be travelling during that time, which is why I'm looking to rent out the place. There are two bedrooms but you'll only have access to one of them - it's light and bright, with a double bed, a chest of drawers and a clothes rail.

You'll have the rest of the flat to yourself. There is a living/dining room with Juliet balcony, a kitchen, bathroom and a separate toilet.

The location is just off Newington Green. It's a seven-minute walk to Canonbury station, and about 20 minutes to Highbury & Islington. Plus there are loads of buses into central London. You're also a 15-minute walk from Stoke Newington and Dalston.

I'm a 40-year-old journalist. I take great pride in my flat so I'm looking for someone who'll take care of it while I'm away. A local friend has keys and will be around if needed.

NOTE: The flat is on the third floor with no lift, so is probably not suitable for those with mobility issues.
