Spacious well-lit, furnished room for rent

About the place:
We’re based in a really lovely, quiet part of Highgate. It’s a leafy neighborhood with great parks, cute pubs, and coffee shops nearby. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—about a 10-minute walk to both Crouch End and Highgate High Street, and very close to the tube. There are always plenty of e-bikes around, too. If you need to head into Central, it’s only about 20 minutes on the Northern Line to get to places like King’s Cross or Tottenham Court Road.

The flat has a shared kitchen and bathroom, but there is no communal living room. We do have a shared garden in the back though. The neighbors are very quiet, so it’s a good spot if you need to work from home without many distractions.

About the room:
The room itself is very large as it used to be the living room for the flat. There is plenty of space for a double bed, a desk, and a couch. It has nice wood floors and comes pre-furnished. Because the windows are south-facing, the room gets a lot of sun, so it's a great spot if you have houseplants. Since the street is quiet, it's also a solid space for working from home.

Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone friendly who is "on it" with the boring-but-important stuff—keeping the kitchen clean, helping with the bins, and generally keeping the shared spaces tidy. We aren't a loud household late at night, but we’re totally happy for people to come over. Usually, if it’s going to be a bigger group, we just give each other a heads-up beforehand.

What it’s like living here:
You’ll be living with a Master’s student studying Art and a data scientist who works from home. We’re definitely not major clubbers; it’s a pretty calm environment, though we do love a pub trip every now and then. We do a lot of cooking and we’re always up for a chat. We’re pretty organized with chores, but we also totally get that life happens and people get busy!
